Jon Michael's Jewelers opened it's doors in 1979 with a very simple philosophy: To sell the absolute best quality jewelry at a fair price. This is possible due to one fact: We design and manufacture every item you see on this web site! Each piece is cast in 14k yellow or white gold, hand finished to perfection, and stones are set by hand using old world techniques. Each photo is taken of an actual ring or pendant we produced for stock. If you see it in Yellow Gold but prefer it in White, we will make it for you. If you see one set with Ruby but would rather have it with Sapphire? No problem. You like a style but prefer it in Platinum? Again, we can do that. If you like what you see, we can size and ship in one business day (sizers are available to be mailed to you if you don’t already know your ring size!). If we need to make it, allow about two weeks. If you would like an insurance replacement document, simply request one at the time you place your order and one will be sent by mail in a separate envelope. Of course, there is no additional charge for this service. Each photo you see will include a brief description of the item and it's current price. Due to the volatility of the precious metals market, we do reserve the right to change these prices as necessary. Most items are available in metals other than 14k. We offer the following warranties and services:

Warranties: Any item purchased at Jon Michael’s is guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects. Like any jewelry business, we do offer jewelry intentionally made in a lighter weight, to sell at a lower price, and cannot be guaranteed against wear or breakage. Neck chains will be repaired once free, and again at half price. New jewelry is guaranteed against stone loss due to manufacturing defects, for one full year, and must be inspected every three (3) months. Fragile stones, such as opals or emeralds, cannot be guaranteed against breakage. Most pearls are secured with glue, and cannot be guaranteed against loss.

Lifetime Maintenance Warranty: All Fayrick Exclusive pieces, which are manufactured here at Jon Michael’s, will be maintained for the life of the item. For complete details, please request a copy of our policy sheet titled “Lifetime Maintenance Warranty”.

In-Store Return Policy: The following items cannot be returned for refund at any time:

A. Obviously worn or damaged items.
B. Sale or discontinued items.
C. Any item engraved, altered, or otherwise customized.
D. Any special order or custom designed item. (See special orders below)

Special Orders: Any item will be specially ordered for you, with a 25% non-refundable deposit.

Custom Designed and Custom Manufactured Items: These items are subject to the same return limitations as above, and are covered with a separate policy, available upon request.

In-Store Layaways: Available IN-STORE ONLY. All in-store layaways of in-stock merchandise requires 25% down with the balance due in three (3) equal monthly payments. Any variation of this policy must be noted on your receipt.

Jewelry Repair: All repairs are performed on premise, and are guaranteed as to the quality of the workmanship. All prong work is guaranteed for one (1) year, and must be inspected every three (3) months. Warranty covers the area worked on ONLY (ie., soldering a wedding set together does not effect stone security, and would not be covered should stone loss occur).

Maintenance: We will cheerfully clean and inspect your jewelry in-store at no charge, and as often as you wish. There is, however, no implied warranty with this service. The extent of prong wear is often hard to determine, and prong replacement is a subjective decision of each employee. Please note: this service is not intended as an alternative to proper insurance protection.

Using Our Service Department: Jon Michael’s is proud of it’s staff of experts in every phase of the jewelry business. Our customers expect and deserve the best and quickest service possible. To those of you who purchase your jewelry and watches elsewhere, please understand that our customer’s needs come first. You may be charged service fees on all work performed, and may be asked to wait while others are helped first. We will do our best to take care of your problems, but honestly prefer you return your problem to where it was purchased.

And Finally: We genuinely appreciate all our customers at Jon Michael’s. Our entire staff is carefully trained in each person’s area of expertise. Our sales people have many years of experience, and also know when to consult our bench jewelers or designers. Many customers feel the “need” to deal directly with the craftspeople and don’t understand when their wishes are carried out. Please, allow our sales people to sell, and our bench people to do the work. It just may be your precious ring we are trying to work on in spite of interruptions.
